When developing a website for a business you have to consider many factors. How much is going to cost? Can I do it myself? What content should I post? Well, over the last year, I have learned a great deal about web development and hopefully, have a better idea of how best to use my website to keep in touch with existing clients, reach out to potential customers, and provide beneficial information to those who are interested in forest management.

In the upcoming months, Genesis will be launching my.genesisforestry.com for current clients. The site will allow existing clients to login for access to their tract date, forms, maps, project updates, pictures, and more.

Genesis will also be launching weekly blog articles about forestry topics. Topics include reforestation, selling timber, biomass markets, carbon credits, best management practices and more. We'll even be puting together some videos from the woods to provide a closer look at what goes on in the woods before, during, and after harvesting operations and other forest management practices.
